WHAT SHIPPED
First-time subscriber discounts
There should be a meme for this, they’re so ubiquitous. But now we’re all in on the party: every Lyric store now can offer first-time subscriber discounts. By that we mean: you can give a first-time subscriber 10% or 20% off any order, but you can customize this! If your store celebrates geometry, why not 3.1415% off? Feeling generous, offer 50% off. You’re in charge.

SEO
We know SEO is top-of-mind for many folks. It’s such an important discovery channel for customers, despite what we hear in this age of AI. This week we made a number of investments to help your stores and products appear better in Google search. These investments take time to really soak in, but we’re starting to see our earlier investments pay off — impressions and clicks in Google are up quite a bit from a month ago. We’ll keep after it. Our goal here is that you get great SEO without having to lift a finger.
Magic Import
If you’re moving to Lyric from another platform or just want to synchronize your products from somewhere else (Shopify, Squarespace, Etsy, Wordpress, you name it) — just hit the magic import button on your products dashboard page. Our systems will get to work pulling your information over so you don’t have to recreate your catalog. Note: this feature is still getting built out, so if you notice any bugs or issues please let us know.

It’s been a crazy run-up to the holiday season and the new year. We’re going to hit pause on the newsletter until the new year. You’ll get your regular reminder again on January 6th. Until then, we hope you enjoy some much-deserved time-off.
