Hi all,
Welcome to 95 people who’ve signed up since we last sent this newsletter. We’re excited you’re here! We are Chris and James, the founders of Lyric, and we usually send out these updates weekly. If you’re new here, you can read why we started Lyric.
Love is in the air
The Valentine’s gift guide will be live through Saturday!
WHAT SHIPPED
Product cross-sells on the product page
Product pages across Lyric are for likely obvious reasons heavily visited, and there’s a lot of work to do to make them help your business grow — and help your community grow. So, the product pages now show other products from your shop, under any product description and public comments, as well as a few products from another store in your community. Because you’re in control of whom you recommend, the products that show up here are only those from stores you know and trust.
Here’s what that looks like:
Searching products in your dashboard
As it says on the tin: you can now efficiently search products by name & description in your dashboard.
The checklist manifesto
When you’re new to Lyric, there are a few crucial steps to get up-and-running. The new seller checklist has a fresh home in your dashboard, so hopefully you can get done what needs doing sooner rather than later! (If you’ve already completed the checklist, it will disappear and not clutter up your life.)
And! if you’re a new seller on Lyric, there’s a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, but you’ll have to click through to see it. 🌈
Imports! 🪄
It’s been a heavy week for imports from other places on the Internet (we won’t name names) — so we’ve been heads down improving the magic wand import tool to support as many of you as we can. If you haven’t yet imported your products but want to, the magic wand works!
UPDATE OF THE WEEK
From Dyan, oil painter in Minnesota.
Thank you all for building this amazing community, see you next time!

I'm considering digital downloads for my photography. Are digital downloads under consideration at Lyric? There are a lot of business and policy issues to be worked out.
