Getting a head start on gratitude
Hi all,
We’ve been hard at work at Lyric HQ building a host of new features that have been on the wish list. And we’re putting the final touches on the holiday gift guide…
HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE
The gift guide will be sending next week! You’ll receive a notification from Lyric on Monday if your work has been selected by our jury. If you’re included you’ll receive some materials you can share to help promote the guide and others in the community. Stay tuned!
WHAT SHIPPED
Colors
Set your store’s theme color!
This affects the color of buttons on your store as well as the background color of the testimonials section on your homepage, if you have one.
Inventory
Selling one-of-a-kind items? Or have a backstock? Now you can specify in the product details how many you have on hand, and, as when sales are made, inventory will be adjusted accordingly as you would expect.
Custom receipt and fulfillment messages
When you receive an order, you can now customize the message that’s included with your customer’s receipt and/or order fulfillment message. You can also attach tracking numbers for any major carrier.
Cart and checkout improvements
We made a few improvements to the checkout experience, including:
Adding a “Buy now” button on the product page
Adding an add-to-cart button on the homepage product grid so that customers don’t have to click into the product page if they don’t want to
Letting customers adjust the quantity of the product they’re buying immediately after they add it to their cart.
We also updated the checkout screens so that they have your site’s logo and they use your theme colors.
Shipping profiles per variant
Highly requested feature: you can attach shipping profiles to each product variant. So, if you sell a product in multiple sizes that cost different amounts to ship, you can now charge the appropriate shipping amount for each variant.
Reordering product variants
Also a highly requested feature, now live!
